He has played both on and off Broadway shows, most recently in It Ain’t Nothin’ but the Blues at Lincoln Center. Early in his career Chris played with and directed bands for The Drifters, The Shirelles, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, The Marvelettes, and other Rock and Roll icons. He has worked on theatrical productions with Michael Bennett, Tom O’Horgan, and Alan Menken. Chris has been an Adjunct Professor of music at CCNY for many years and the musical director of its theater program since 2000.
